Please join us for a webinar featuring author, journalist, and cultural critic Nick Romeo, hosted by IFTF's Equitable Enterprise Initiative. Romeo writes for The New Yorker, The Washington Post, Financial Times, and many other publications. He is currently writing a book for Public Affairs (a Perseus Books imprint) on the people and ideas that are defining a new paradigm in economics for the 21st century. Romeo's most recent New Yorker article provides a detailed profile of Mondragon, the world’s largest co-op based in Spain.
IFTF Executive Director Marina Gorbis will host a conversation with Romeo to discuss his work on worker-owned cooperatives, labor unions, and the gig economy. They will be joined by Esteban Kelly, Executive Director for the US Federation of Worker Cooperatives and IFTF Future for Good Fellow, and Ra Criscitiello, Deputy Director of Research at SEIU-United Healthcare Workers West and EEI Advisor, to reflect on lessons for the US.
