IFTF Foresight Talks: Bringing Strategic Foresight to the U.S. Government
Please join us on Thursday, May 27 at 9AM Pacific Time, when Sharaelle Grzesiak, Assistant Director, Center for Strategic Foresight at the US Government Accountability Office and Co-Chair of the Federal Foresight Community of Interest, will share how she's integrated strategic foresight into multiple federal government agencies and policies through workshops, consultations, and community-building.

Sharaelle A. Grzesiak is a dedicated public servant with a longstanding track record as a foresight strategist and policy analyst within various Departments in the U.S. Government, both in the Executive and Legislative branch, to include DHS, HHS, VA and more recently within the GAO. In her current role, she serves as the Assistant Director, for the Center for Strategic Foresight, where she was instrumental in helping establish the first-ever GAO Center for Strategic Foresight. Her foresight work in government has also garnered accolades outside GAO, such as being added to the List of the World’s Top Female Futurists. Ms. Grzesiak is only one of two females within the Federal government, due to her sustained dedication to foresight and innovation across various branches of government. Her work has resulted in an award-winning GAO 2018-2023 Strategic Plan. Ms. Grzesiak’s dedication to foresight across government earned her appointment to become the Federal Foresight Community of Interest (FFCOI) Co-Chair. She has a Master of Arts from the National Defense University where she studied Strategic Security Studies and holds a Bachelors of Art in Sociology, Minor in Political Science – International Relations from Northern Illinois University.
